On the Wedding
Leah’s wedding was held at Froyle Park estate, Alton.
Makeup process
On the day, after her hair was finished by Papachichistyle, I began work on her. Leah has normal to almost dry skin so I made sure after cleansing, I moisturized using Embryolisse lait cream. Then her brows were filled in using Anastasia Beverley Hills brow definer in chocolate and combed through using MAC brow gel in show off. I then primed her eyelids using a staple product of mine – MAC paint pot in Laying low. For the eye, I mainly used the Anastasia Beverley Hills eyeshadow in Pink Champagne and Violet Voss holy grail eyeshadows in Ploof and cool beans. I avoided using any dark shade as Leah did not want any dark eyeshadows on her eyes aside from the eyeliner. The look was finished off with glam mink lashes.
Moving on to her skin, I used Smashbox photo finish foundation primer all over the face followed by MAC orange corrector to lift the discoloration on her skin. My bride wanted her own foundation used, which was Makeup For Ever HD foundation stick. Then I went on to conceal her under eye with the NARS ginger set and Laura Mercier loose setting powder in Translucent. This I sparingly used around her face with a large fluffy brush to minimize excess on her face.
In order to add a bit of definition to her face, I used Smashbox contour kit in Deep. I then highlighted using Becca shimmering skin perfector in opal followed by MAC blush in peachy keen. Then to her lips, I defined around the edges using MAC lip liner in Cork followed by MAC lipstick in Lovelorn and lipgloss in dreamy.
Leah was a sight in her custom-made Alonuko ballgown! So beautiful! Thanks, Leah for the booking. To see more of my work, let’s meet up on @joyadenuga on Instagram or www.joyadenuga.com.
