Our beauty look for the day is for the Igbo Amaka-the beautiful bride. It was created to show off the beauty of an Igbo bride in African print (Ankara) and we must say that the team did justice to the entire look. From the well-tailored outfit, the gorgeous makeup and the hairstyle that fits like a crown on her head, the look is definitely one to want to try out.

Here’s a description of the shoot according to the makeup artist, Glam Drop:

Nigeria is known for its cultural diversity but we decide to focus on the Igbo culture for this look.  The Igbo Amaka is beautiful and elegant in African print that was tailored to perfection.  We wanted to encourage brides to try something for the big day, like the African prints. The African prints can be used in a lot of ways and the traditional wedding is one way.
