What began with a Hinge match quickly became an unshakable connection for Candice and Devaughn, and three years later, they said “I do” in the most stunning garden-party wedding at the picturesque Monserate Winery in Fallbrook, CA.

Surrounded by lush greenery and dreamy vineyard views, their special day celebrated love and elegance, infused with an Italian-inspired charm. The couple’s chic white and beige colour palette, paired with stone and linen accents, brought Candice’s vision of timeless sophistication to life. From her breathtaking strapless silk Monique Lhuillier dress with a thigh slit to DeVaughn’s dashing off-white silk tuxedo jacket, every detail of their wedding was pure perfection. And the photos? My journey to Los Angeles in 2021 was one of faith, growth, and new beginnings. I felt a pull to explore new opportunities, embrace a career change, and live a wellness-centered lifestyle. Little did I know, those steps of faith would also lead me to the love of my life. Just six months after settling into my new city, I matched with DeVaughn on Hinge. From our very first date, everything felt so natural—like we’d known each other forever. DeVaughn planned a date at a French restaurant, knowing my love for French cuisine, and I was immediately struck by how thoughtful and intentional he was. The chemistry between us was undeniable. As we got to know each other, it became clear we were two halves of the same whole—he truly felt like the male version of me.

Fast forward to August 29, 2024, when we said “I do” in the most beautiful celebration at Monserate Winery in Fallbrook, CA. I had always dreamed of a chic garden party vibe with a touch of Italian elegance, and we brought that vision to life with a white and beige palette and stone and linen accents. For my bridal look, I wore a strapless silk ivory Monique Lhuillier gown with a scoop neckline and thigh slit, paired with ivory Manolo Blahnik Hangisi pumps. DeVaughn looked absolutely dashing in his off-white silk tuxedo jacket and black suede tuxedo loafers. Our day was everything we dreamed of—a perfect blend of faith, destiny, and the love we’ve built together.
