It’s so amazing how, amid a buzzing crowd, love can still single out that one special person meant for you. This happened to Joy and Michael, who met at a concert.

Their connection deepened later that night at a restaurant, where the magic truly began. From drowning themselves in hearty conversations to sharing laughter that lingered, they left an impression on each other that neither could forget.

Nine years after their unforgettable meet-cute, here they are, embarking on a beautiful fairytale. After their vibrant traditional wedding, they exchanged vows in a dreamy white wedding set in the breathtaking outdoors. Joy rocked her dress with such elegance, and Michael was every bit the dapper groom. Their day was filled with so much love and beauty, you sure want to take it all in. 😍

On October 21st, 2016 our lives forever changed. One of the biggest Nigerian concert was held in Houston, Texas. People from all over the states were in attendance of this big concert. Michael and his friends drove down from Atlanta, Ga to Houston to attend the concert. Michael’s friend Damilola Oke, who happened to be friends with my family friend Damilola Kazeem, Invited all of us to eat at a local Nigerian restaurant named Trinity. Michael and I happened to sit next to each other, and we began to engage in a conversation.

We were so carried away with our conversation, we forgot about everyone else at the table. The chemistry was out of the world. Michael was making me laugh hysterically. After the dinner, everyone said their goodbyes and went on with the day. For some reason, I couldn’t take her mind off of Michael. Damilola K, then reached out to Damilola O and got Michael’s number and gave it to me. Since then, we have never stopped talking. On my birthday, September 14th 2022, Michael popped the big question! And to God be the glory, I said YES!
