Bolanle and Tolu‘s inspiring love story has us in our feelings this morning!

They met twenty-one years ago on the playground of Ifako International school and started their love journey on January 5, 2000. Their parents called it “puppy love” and watched keenly as they grew closer.

Despite some off and on moments, nothing could keep these two apart as they later reunited while undertaking their Masters programmme in the UK. It shocked family and friends who knew how long they had been together in love and how strong their bond was.

Tolu had to move back to Nigeria following a job offer in 2008. They both had to endure a long one year apart before Bolanle found an offer back home and returned to her sweetheart in 2009.

They started their journey to forever in August 2010 and have been blessed with two wonderful and beautiful children.

We love the surprise intimate anniversary dinner planned by LovebugsNg which was so romantic with serenading music, candles, and a beautiful dinner by Chef Fregz. Did we mention that the studio photoshoot taken by Emmanuel Oyeleke was so beautiful? We just did!
