By now, we can all agree that you can find the love of your life anywhere and in any way. Love has no manual and today, we’ve got yet another roof, thanks to Bolawa and Michael!

Bolawa had put up an ad on a popular matchmaking platform on Instagram and even though she didn’t expect much from it, love was already at her doorstep as her sweetheart, Michael showed up. Now, it’s happy ever after for the lovebirds and we’re absolutely rooting for them! Their beautiful pre-wedding photos have us admiring the beauty and power of love.

I never thought I would meet my husband through Joro @jorolumofin but I actually did! They say you meet your soulmate in places/instances you never thought you would. I left a 3-year relationship in December 2020 and I wondered how I was supposed to start all over again.

My sisters recommended I try Joro to expand my options and I was very sceptical about it. I sent my ad on the 12th of December, 2020 and Michael sent me a message within the hour. He seemed very sweet and intelligent, and upfront about what he wanted which I appreciated.

Even with all that, I still ignored him for 2 months. Women sha! He was very persistent, so I thought to myself ‘What do I have to lose?! I put the ad out there, so I need to put the effort in as well. I am so glad I didn’t miss out on this wonderful man.

This man is my best friend, confidant, lover, and soon to be husband. What concerns me even concerns him more! He even does it too much, but that’s him and I love him for that. He bought me a ring before we met in person and he proposed the next day after we met – the 8th of September, 2021.
