Chisom and Eche’s fairytale has been 17 years in the making. What started with two kids who happened to be family friends has blossomed into something deeper. As they exchange their vows in a white wedding ceremony, it’s clear that their bond is not just built on love, but on the countless shared experiences that have made them inseparable today. Eche and I have known each other for as long as we can remember, it’s been 17 years in the making. As family friends, our lives crossed paths in numerous ways: from attending Corona Primary and Secondary School together to our mothers sharing the same Law school journey. Our brothers also shared bonds, commuting home together during school breaks and even competing in relay races. Despite this, we surprisingly didn’t speak while in secondary school and beyond, until one fateful day that changed everything forever. Friendship was built and so much love was developed, after a while we knew that the journey to forever was certain.
