Their love story as shared by Cynthia:
Sometime in February, I received a message on Facebook from him that instantly caught my attention. It said, “God don butter my bread,” a phrase in Nigerian Pidgin. I couldn’t help but smile—he’s white, so I wondered how he knew a local Nigerian expression! That one message sparked a conversation, and from there, everything changed. Now, we’re counting down to forever. “My beloved is mine, and I am his; he browses among the lilies.” — Song of Solomon 2:16
