Today, we’ve got plenty of reasons to revel in the beautiful cultures that we’re blessed to have in Nigeria. It’s all about Elvina and Mujeed! The gorgeous Igbo bride got married to her Yoruba prince charming and it was everything and more!
The love birds who met on Instagram had gotten us all mushy with their adorable pre-wedding shoot and love story. Now, they’ve taken that love to the permanent site and we’re beyond stoked for them! Elvina and Mujeed got married and they brought both their cultures to life! Their traditional wedding was a wholesome blend of the beautiful Igbo and Yoruba cultures. The entire event was such a beautiful sight with the presence of the amazingly talented singer, Timi Dakolo who serenaded the couple to his lovely tunes. Ace comedian, AY was also present to host the event and of course, bring that undiluted humour that we’ve all come to love.
The #MEForever traditional wedding is definitely one for the books and we just can’t get over all the exciting moments. Elvina and her girls went full cultural with their native Igbo attire and the Yoruba Asooke and lace subsequently. Mujeed’s Isiagu was also one for the books, as he and his squad came through dripping in swag. There’s so much to say about Elvina and Mujeed’s amazing Igbo-Yoruba Wedding, but we’ll let you experience it for yourself!
Enjoy all the photos from their wedding below.
