We are in absolute awe of this wedding styled shoot titled Forest Bloom. The outdoor wedding shoot was set in the heart of South East London and was planned by CYEHIS EVENTS and it exuded beauty, romance, and class. We can’t get enough of the lush and gorgeousness from these pictures that inspire a gorgeous spring and summer wedding.
In this shoot, you will see the gorgeous blush pink wedding dress to the pink rose bouquet, and the gorgeous candles lit in the candle holders on the table filled with pink roses and gold cutleries. This styled shoot just oozes elegance and we can’t help but stan! The forest juxtaposes all the delicate colours with its greenery and creates a masterpiece that is this shoot.
The curator and planner of this styled shoot, CYEHIS EVENTS shared their vision for the look:
My vision for this forest bloom styled shoot was to create something that overflows with pure beauty and romance and to tell a story of what truly matters ‘LOVE’
Hence the name ‘Forest Bloom: Trails Of Love’
I wanted this styled shoot to show the raw moments of what an intimate and romantic wedding could be. Think delicate, feminine and classy. I infused a soft colour palette of pink, blush and pale blue into the greenery of the forest. These colours have softer tones, are refreshing and quite romantic. The chosen colour palette is also suitable for spring and summer weddings.
Romantic weddings are all about celebrating the blooming love between two people. This is what a small yet intimate wedding offers. Our lovely model couple, Rakehsa and King are a real life couple who are both deeply in love with each other and we were able to capture their love and the strong emotions they shared with each other so beautifully.
Forest bloom styled shoot was set in stambourne woodland, in the heart of South East London. This shoot is meant to inspire the smallest of celebrations. The simple, but yet classic design of the sweetheart tablescape using varieties of garden roses with pops of delicate blue delphiniums and fragrant eucalyptus foliage to create a cascade of flowers allowed for romance to dazzle with regal details.
I wanted the ceremony to be very simple and intimate for the two love birds. The forest provided a serene setting and the perfect ceremony backdrop. We added a few other details such as adding garlands of eucalyptus draping on trees, the lovely Noa Davies playing her harp, which set the tone for a more romantic feel and captivated the loved up couple.
Jide Adesina clothing styled the groom in a light grey tailored suit and polished off the look using accessories that complemented the colour palette and the bridal gown.
The bride wore a bespoke one shoulder blush pink and ivory gown, with a soft ivory tulle detachable train. This gown was specially made by Felisiti Greis to complement the concept of this shoot. Felisiti created this stunning gown using the softest and most luxurious ivory chantilly lace, with blush pink georgette chiffon as the underlay. The bodice of this dress was intricate hand applique 3D floral bloom, cascading from the shoulder down. Overall the dress had a modern and contemporary feel to it, something every fashion forward bride will look for in a gown.
Trails Of Love
“We journey through life looking for the next chapter in our lives, not knowing we are journeying towards love. A love bigger than ourselves. Each step we take, each decision you make, is the carefully cultivating journey towards the love you are destined to find. So, trust the journey to finding love because when the dust has settled, we are old and grey, all we have left to hold onto is the love we found, and the love we gave.” Sho-Writes.
The final detail that puts an exclamation point on the day is, of course, the beautifully tiered cake featuring soft and subtle wood design effects with delicate succulent sugar flowers and topped with a floral bloom halo. I wanted the cake to be one of the focal points of the shoot, so what better way to do this than have this stunning 3 tier wedding cake beautifully designed by The Cake Consortium hanging from the branches of the tree.
With the help of a dream team of amazing creatives, designers and artists, this shoot was executed in a breathtaking way with such careful attention to details. We created something truly magical and we hope it inspires future weddings.
