Today is another beautiful day to celebrate those special people who help their friends find love. Some might call them angels on earth, and we couldn’t agree more.

Ginika and Ikenna are on their forever journey, and yes, a friend introduced them when they were still in university. Even though they lost touch after a while, they still found their way back into each other’s arms—talk about ‘what will be, will be.’ They tied the knot in a vibrant traditional wedding where they fully repped their Igbo roots. They looked absolutely stunning, and the love between them was undeniable. The blend of love and culture is so beautiful to witness and each frame would make you smile. 😍

A friend back in school introduced me to him. We went to the same school, the University of port Harcourt. He was a medical student so I graduated first, moved to Lagos and we lost contact. Towards the end of 2021, my staff forwarded a message from a guy called Ikenna trying to get my personal line, so I reached out and it happened he was in Lagos so we agreed to meet for drinks. Afterwards, he was so persistent about wanting a relationship and he used to say that he was sure he was going to marry me. 😂 I used to laugh this wicked laugh anytime he said it.

Over time I got fond of him, and we had great conversations but what captivated me most was his heart, he is one of the kindest humans I’ve ever met, not just to me but to everyone around him, he is also so intelligent and smart and the man is so fineee. 😍 We had our civil wedding about a year later and here we are, I’m married to the love of my entire existence.
