When it comes to love, a timeless tip would be: “Never say never.” Because who knows? That person you think wouldn’t be compatible could in fact, be your soulmate!
Ibilola and Chimaobi’s love story began with a little nudge from fate—courtesy of Chimaobi’s sister, who just happened to be Ibilola’s friend. While their first encounter didn’t exactly sweep Ibilola off her feet, sometimes love takes its time to reveal itself. It wasn’t long before Cupid worked his magic, and the two found themselves on a sweet love pedestal, building something truly special.
Now, they get to spend the rest of their lives together after exchanging vows in a dreamy white wedding ceremony. Everything from their big day—the stylish looks, the heartfelt vows, and the sweet displays of love—felt like a scene out of a fairytale. You certainly want to take it all in as you scroll.

Their love story as shared by Ibilola:
We met in August 2018 during my last semester at UT Arlington, which happened to be his first semester in graduate school there. My friend, Chidinma, who happens to be Moby’s younger sister, needed help moving and we all met up to help. When I first saw Moby, I actually didn’t like him. Moby came off as someone who was too serious about life and he didn’t smile much. I was the exact opposite. However, after the first few conversations at bible study, I knew I liked him, but of course, I never made it obvious *wink*.
Ibilola came through with that bridal glow 😍
In an attempt to be sneaky, I got Moby’s number from his sister and reached out under the guise of “I need help with graduation gifts for your sister.” After a couple of months of small talk here and there, we went on our first date at IHOP. It was a few weeks after that first date that Moby told me “You know you’re going to be my wife right?” to which I literally laughed out loud. The sound of that was absurd to me considering it was just the first date and we barely knew each other. Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, and before we knew it, 5 years passed and now here we are celebrating #ForeverAzuonye.
Talk about a stunning squad 😍
Now, let’s rewind back to August 2018 during the move. We helped carry a mini fridge from the car to the apartment and I ended up getting a cut on my arm which left a scar till this day. There will always be a reminder of the first day we met.
All set for the big day 😍
First look with the first love, dad
