Our bridal beauty look today is dishing out all the inspiration you need for your traditional wedding glam. I never had any plans on what kind of shoot we wanted to do, in fact, the model came on short notice. Well after the hair was done, I felt smoking her eyes would look nice on her very tiny eyelid. Then to make it bigger I decided to do a cut crease smokey eyes using only matte shadows in nudes and black to complement the smokey as planned earlier. And then for her lip shape and size, I went bold with red just to add a pop of colour to her complexion.

The inspiration for this style is “THE ANCIENT AFRICAN WOMAN”. I love how they wear their natural hair effortlessly. One could tell how beautiful and confident a woman is from her hair because their hair is best known as their crown. So we tried to bring back that trend.
