Don and I met in early 2019 in front of the formal gate where he resides. Just as I was coming down from the bike, he and his friends were driving out from the gate; then when he sighted me, he stopped immediately just because he wanted to speak to me. 😂. He approached me and asked me where I was heading. He asked if I was coming to meet him. I smiled and said no, that I was visiting my best friend (Sarah).

He asked for my number and I declined. Then he kept asking my bestfriend for the number and my friend told me about it and said 5k was involved for the number. I told her to collect the money and give him the number but I would still block him. He didn’t pay that money until 2023 when he had to give her $50 as appreciation. Before we got married, his words to me when we became friends was ‘las las na me go still marry you.’ Here we are today, seeing it become a reality.
