Berta created these breathtaking designs using the finest fabrics, form fitting corsets, illusion necklines, thigh high slits that will make brides to be the talk of the town, in their own ball. The BERTA fashion house draws constant inspiration from the child within, with a strong leading belief that a BERTA bride is the kind who desires to be spoken of, and adorned in the most lavish of ways. As after all “On every formal visit a child ought to be of the party, by way of provision for discourse.” With what has now become a Berta universal knowledge and much like in previous collections, her inspiration is forever driven by the power of the fabrics themselves. Each is looked at as an element of nature to first bring life to each dress and later nourish the design for years and weddings to come. Putting each bride right in the centre of attention. We all speak of chasing dreams bigger than life, but how many can truly say they’ve done and risked it all? These and more quickly brought us to the realization that shooting the Maggiore collection in an ancient Italian castle right in the middle of nature, by the lake, is only a fitting setting to honour our couture elements. To honour nature in the form of history, through generations of kingdoms. Nature in the form of freedom.
