Did someone say, gorgeous bride? 😍

Their love story as shared by Rahab:

Ochai and I met through mutual friends during my graduation. Our mutual friends kept asking Ochai if he knew this Kenyan girl but he kept telling them “No I don’t know who that is.” After my graduation, we had a graduation party where our mutual friends invited Ochai and we ended up meeting. We spent some time together and got to know each other after. During the Covid 19 pandemic, he asked me to be his girlfriend while he was in Nigeria and I was in the States. We did a little bit of a long-distance relationship which was rough but we both knew how we felt about each other and we knew this was something we wanted to continue to pursue.

A glowing squad! 😍

He came back to the States and then asked me to marry him when his parents came for his graduation. Talking with his family, they were always so amazing to me and I knew this was a family I wanted to be a part of. It was really important to both of us that both our parents met, so when they came for Ochai’s graduation they were able to meet and get to know each other. We can both say that our families fell in love with each other as well.  Ochai and I got married at our favourite venue in Joplin Missouri where all our friends and family came to support and celebrate with us.

All set for the big day! 😍

Their love story as shared by Ochai:

I met Rahab at a friend’s house just after she had graduated. She looked stunning, had a great smile and was friendly to everyone around her. We got to know each other over the next couple of months. We would hang out with friends, learn each other’s hobbies, watch our favourite movies and shows (I still haven’t watched Sense 8), and go out to places together. I found myself looking forward to any time we would be able to spend with each other. After two years of growing closer to each other, I finally asked her to be my girlfriend. I already knew this was going to be the girl I would marry.

Let’s check out the fine groom!

Our relationship blossomed and we couldn’t wait to get married. I couldn’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her. Of course, we also had to get to know each other’s families as well. Her parents became my U.S. parents and showed us unlimited love and support. My parents also got to know her when they were visiting the States and this all led to getting married. It’s been an amazing journey and I’m looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together.

Let’s go get married!
