One amazing thing about love is how it can happen in the most beautiful yet unexpected ways. One minute, you’re having a typical work day… the next, you’re slowly falling in love and starting a new journey! This is the tale of lovebirds – Rolayo and Trevor.

The two met one beautiful day at work while on the same shift and a friendship was formed. From friends, they became lovers and now so much more. Rolayo and Trevor tied the knot in a beautiful white wedding ceremony with friends, family and well-wishers present to share in their joy. Before this, was the colourful Yoruba traditional engagement and the love was equally evident!

Rolayo was such a beautiful bride and Trevor came through repping too! You certainly want to take in the beauty of the #TandRo22 wedding yourself.

Their love story, as shared by Rolayo:

We met at work while we were both working the same shifts. One day, I did her hair and makeup really pretty and caught Trevor’s attention while he was working. We barely knew each other at that point but Trevor decided to make a bold move and compliment my looks which of course made me blush anytime I crossed paths with Trevor at work.

We worked a bunch more shifts together and got more comfortable around each other. We quickly became each other’s most exciting part of work. One evening, Trevor asked me to join him for milkshakes after work and I happily accepted. We began to go on more dates which mostly involved us sitting in Trevor’s car till 5 am in the morning at times, eating takeout and talking about anything and everything. The rest is history!
