Before the wedding

My lovely bride, Shirga who is Filipino/Nigerian booked me after seeing the finished look from a model at one of my 2017 bridal Masterclasses. She didn’t require any form of bridal consultation and totally trusted me to give her a beautifully radiant and flawless look.

On the Wedding

On the wedding day, I arrived at her prep location – St Pancras Renaissance Hotel London. I waited for the hairstylist, Mary of Papachichistyle to finish off prep on her hair before commencing.

Makeup process

I started Shirga’s makeup by cleansing her face and neck to get rid of dirt and residue oil followed by a quick spray of Smashbox primer water for instant hydration all over her face. Her brows were filled in using Evita Joseph brow liner in Chestnut brown followed by MAC brow gel in Showoff.

On her eyelids, I prepped using MAC paint pot in Laying low and all eyeshadows used were from Smashbox cover shot petal metal eye shadow palette. This was finished up with Loreal super liner ultra precision liner in black and small mink lashes. For her waterline, I applied the Ingot gel liner in 77.

To prep her skin, I applied a thin layer of embryolisse lait cream followed by Becca ever matte primer applied with my fingers.  The foundation used on her was NARS all day luminous foundation in a mix of Macao and Cadiz. This was followed by NARS creamy concealer in caramel which was applied under the eyes to conceal and highlight. To set the concealer, I used Laura Mercier loose setting powder in Translucent. The rest of her face was set using a mix of MAC studio fix powder in NC50 and 55.

Her face was then softly defined by contouring using MAC mineralise skin finish in Dark deep followed by Becca shimmering skin perfector in a mix of opal and topaz. For the blush, I used the NARS blush in Orgasm. Her makeup look was finished on her lips, I began with MAC lip liner in Cork and Whirl and filled it in using MAC lipstick in Lovelorn and lipgloss in Nymphette.
