Have you ever met someone for the first time who literally took your breath away? Temitope can sure relate because that is how his first encounter with Temitayo went.

It all began one fateful day when a friend invited him to church… little did he know that he was going to end up meeting the love of his life. It was an instant connection and he knew from that moment that Temitope was going to be his wife. A few years later, he planned the perfect winter proposal in London where he went down on one knee and asked her to marry him… of course, she said ‘Yes’! We can hear the jolly sounds of wedding bells and we are so happy for these lovebirds as they begin their journey to forever. 😍

I never used to believe in love at first sight until it actually happened to me. It was a really bright Sunday morning around the end of summer, 2022. I got a call from a friend asking us to go to church..but forced. We got to church, and just when I was about to take off my jacket and sit, I saw this lady sitting in front of me, passionately chatting with her friend. “That’s my person”, I whispered to my friend. “Do you know her? ” he responded. “Nah, but that’s my babe”. That was the first time I ever laid my eyes on Temi and I just knew she was/is my person. I mean, I stared at her almost all through the service. “Go talk to her ” my friend nudged me.

With excitement, I walked up straight to her after the church service. Her smile was/is contagious, the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Her accent was just unique…I didn’t know if she was forming it o, but it blew me away still. Have you ever walked up to someone extremely beautiful and you get short of words? Well, I still managed to get her name and asked for a bottle of water! I wasn’t even thirsty! I was so shocked to discover she was my namesake…Talk about fate! I just knew we were meant to be…I honestly can’t explain it. We connected so well, in almost all areas…we started as friends and quickly became best friends. We officially started dating in Spring of the next year and it took me only a few months after to conclude I’d put the ring on it!

Winter proposal, let’s have it… It was quite a nervous and exciting one… wanted to get her the best possible ring, propose and then have the proposal dinner in places of sentimental value to her! And yes, it was the most beautiful proposal ever! Was I nervous? The video says it all!🤣 I don’t even know why I was that nervous! The best yes ever! Now we’ve got a wedding to plan!
