One of our favourite types of romcoms is the ones that involve “set-ups”. It’s just so cute seeing two people being set up by loved ones and actually going on ahead to fall in love – talk about an extension of love! Well, today, we’re taking in this same beauty, but this time, in real life. 😅

Victoria and Bright were set up on a date by Victoria’s sister and Bright’s friend and even though they individually didn’t know what to expect, it all came together nicely and now it’s a forever love story. The love birds tied the knot in an intimate white wedding with family and friends present to share in their joy.

Before the white wedding, they tied the knot traditionally in a colourful Ghanaian wedding ceremony and we’re in love with all the beauty. The love and joy are so evident in these photos, we bet you want to enjoy it all yourself.

Bright met me through my older sister who was dating his friend at the time. They set us up on a double date and we both did not know who the other person will be. In the beginning, I was unwilling to get to know another guy after coming out of a recent relationship. Bright’s persistent nature was unyielding. He only asked for my friendship and wanted to help me with everything – even learning to drive! Lol.

After a while I realize he was really a nice guy and eventually we were spending nearly everyday together. That came to a halt when he was offered a job out of state but we continued to endure the challenges of a long distance relationship. Today our victory is that we get to be together for a lifetime.

Time to say those vows…
