Sometimes, the love of your life could just be an introduction away! Things took a beautiful turn for Yetunde and Tomide when a mutual friend decided to play cupid.

This plan certainly worked wonders, as it brought them closer and set the stage for a beautiful love story. They exchanged their vows in a stunning white wedding ceremony, sealing their love in the presence of family and friends. From morning prep to the ceremony and reception, one thing that stood out was the undeniable depth of their love. They look perfect together and we are totally rooting for them as they embark on their forever journey!

During spring of 2020, I can remember that a mutual friend of ours came to my house to visit. I was actually wrapping up my last project for my clinical rotations. She jokingly brought up the conversation of relationships. I remember her ringing in my ear, ‘Tomide, you are about to graduate, you need an African woman in your life to bring home.’ She then proceeded to show me random photos of potential friends she thought I would be interested in.

As soon as she showed me a photo of Yetunde, I knew I would love to get to know her and decided to follow her on Instagram. Of course, I slid into her DMs. Her response wasn’t quite promising being that she was in school and wanted to focus, but your boy still insisted to pursue. Finally on December 26, 2020 she agreed to go on the first date and from then on, I knew I was going to marry her. Fast forward to August 24, 2024 I shared my forever vows with the love of my life.
