Yinka & Olakunle Met at The Club – Now It’s #ADOL22!

When we maintain that love can happen anywhere and at any time, it’s because over and again, we’ve seen beautiful stories of love happening when people least expect it. Yinka and Olakunle can certainly relate to this.

The lovebirds were simply out to have fun at the club one night. But as they say, love has a plan for everyone. And for these two, it was to fall head over heels in love with each other. Now, they’re ready to say their “I do” and we’re super stoked for them! The #ADOL22 pre-wedding photos are giving us all the feels and we can’t get over their undeniable chemistry. Their love story as shared by Yinka:

I met my now Fiance, Olakunle, in Club Quilox when I was just finishing the end of my first year at the university. I had these shiny earrings which I felt caught his attention. During the course of the night, I caught him severally looking in my direction but I couldn’t tell if he was looking at me or my friend because he had dark shades on.

He never said anything to me as he wasn’t sure if I came with a guy or not until we met the next day at a friend’s house. We started chatting, took each other’s numbers and promised to keep in touch (although I was in a serious relationship at that time).

We then met up in the next coming weeks quite a lot, and we were almost inseparable from then. So when I hear people say relationships that begin in nightclubs, or in other unconventional ways won’t last, I do have to laugh. Reading our old messages now, I can’t help but smile and thank God for how far we’ve come.
